Amgen Tour
Amgen Tour came to Tuolumne this year! Check out the pictures of this amazing event!
Val, from the downtown prospective I don't think that we got nearly the business from this enterprise that we were told to expect. ONLY two of the five Sonora motels were full, and many of the Washington St merchants were "invisible" due to the AMGEN tenting! All for TV. The crews and the set-up and take down folks were fed by Save-Mart out of a large vehicle parked on Yaney Ave. I have not seen any "glowing reports" of businesses reporting an influx of people. The people along the route were possibly LOCAL.
